Need help! I need to make a super-efficient wind mill out of paper!?
My current plan is to make the classical 4-bladed pinwheel, but I am not allowed to use a pin!
First answer that works well gets 10 points!
1.) Is there a wind mill design that creates more energy than the design that I proposed? I have a limited amount of paper and manila folder paper.
2.) What could be a plausible replacement for my pin? Remember, I am aiming for this design: http://www.thetoymaker.com/Toypages/21pinwheel/pinwheeldiagram.jpg
P.S. This is the generator. The fan must not be able to hit the generator, lest it slow down. http://www.sciencenc.com/Tournament_information/Event_rules_nc/Event%20photos/PhysSciLab400/windpower%20copy.jpg
Just found out I can use tape in the experiment. How can this replace the pin, and/or add efficiency to my fan?
Also, how does size affect the efficiency? Should I make it large or small?
I only have one thing to say and that is that the most efficient type is clearly the type seen in power generating windmills..
These have long 50-100m tilted parts, just make sure you stick to that and not like, and old fashioned fat one
